Beschrijving: Een volle blend met aroma’s van cassis, violet, rijpe pruimen en zwarte olijven. Een complexe, maar mooi uitgebalanceerde smaak die een lange afdronk achterlaat met hints van pure chocolade en truffel. Heeft ook een mooie mineraliteit die aan een Pomerol doet denken.

Gerecht: Past bij gegrilde kalfsentrecôte, gegrilde steak met champignons of gegrilde provençaalse groenten.

Info: Jacques Mouton was een van de baanbrekende Franse hugenoten die hielpen bij het creëren van het land dat Zuid-Afrika zou worden. Als Franse hugenoot werd hij begraven op La Terra de luc in Franschhoek, waar veel hugenoten gestationeerd waren. Met deze wijn eren we de hugenoten die een grote invloed hebben gehad op de toekomst van de wijnbereiding in Zuid-Afrika. De wijn wordt geproduceerd door La Couronne, een van de oorspronkelijke boerderijen die aan de hugenoten zijn geschonken.
